I will be showing at PortBean Cafe (formerly: MaineBean Cafe) 111 Commercial St. Portland, ME - Opening reception August 6th - 5p to 8p.

This will be a solo showing labeled, Abstract Intuition and will feature all original work ranging in size from 24x36 down to 8x10, all acrylic on canvas, black and white.

This will be apart of the First Friday Art Walk (firstfridayartwalk.com) which PACA (Portland Arts and Cultural Alliance) puts on each month to highlight the local gallery openings.

Opening reception August 6th - 5p to 8p.

June 26th @ Space Gallery. a 8pm-2am dance party with the Alien theme. Many great local electronic and funk DJ's will be spinning as well.
Here is a description by VJ Foo "Alien theme masquerade dance party, lasers, deco, live streaming, djs, visuals, folded horn subs, live dance performance...."

Sounds to be a great way to spend saturday night! tell your friends!

SATURDAY MAY 29th 2010 - Sophronia Designs is having a fashion runway show @ Space Gallery in Portland, ME. My good friend Mallory, who is the name and brain behind the greatness has asked me to do some temporary tattoos on her models.
Runway show starts @ 830, runs 45 minutes and I believe there is a musical act after.

Also have started working with Yeti Skis (www.yetiskis.com) - A local friend recently graduated and needed some interesting designs for his park ski line. I've done up some ski's before but never worked with a manufacturer. This could get fun ! Stay Tuned.

Recently I purchased (6) 150 page notebooks and am working to fill them up as fast as i can. I'll try to keep you updated with 1-2 scans a week out of there.

I've been very busy with work and life, busy enough to not keep an updated blog. Here is a list of some of the things I've participated with in the past year.

Spring has sprung in Maine, it seems like the snow is almost out for the season..

Flow went well, Maine Mead Works had a tasting and meadery tours going on during the art event. We also had Dj's Boondocks, Nicotine and Graymatter, thanks for the tunes guys.

Ill post photos of the event soon but heres one piece that was a big hit

I also got out to the wall in Portland for the first time ever today, heres what it looks like

its really nice to have a place you can try something that i wouldnt be able to anyways, i like the colors

My 5mp kodak c533 is dying out on me i had to use 4 sets of batteries, after i take 1 shot it dies on me... im not sure whats up with that but i'll need to invest in a new one. internet has no answers for me on that one. Thanks for your time I'll Keep you updated.

This is (2) 8x16 gallery canvas' done with faber castell pens/ highlighters, took me about 4.5-5 hours. its hot i like it a lot going off like wild style graff shape for the whole.

Hello!First off thanks for your interest in attending Synthesis.Its certainly going to be one amazing event!Please keep in mind that fall is just around the corner and it may get a little chilly once the sun goes down. Be prepared bring a coat/jacket/hoodie.Another thing is if you can please do your best to car pool we have quite a bit of parking available but just in case the fewer vehicles the better. It will also help you save on gas if you can get everyone riding to pitch in.Please respect the land! Carry off what you carry in limited trash will be available. We are environmentally conscious and want to limit the clean up plus who wants to party in garbage anyway?No fires... grilling should be totally fine we do not want any ground level fires. Another reason to bring some warm clothing. Camping is available for those that need to sleep. This is only a one night event and do not expect anyone to be camping out for days afterwards....No weapons, drugs, bad vibes! - goes without saying we're doing our very best to keep this a safe friendly environment.No vending unless you are already authorized you know who you are.We will have a porta potty on site but you might want to bring extra TP...If we see anyone blatantly disrespecting the rules you will be politely asked to leave.Sorry for all the rules and guide lines we want to make this an amazing and safe experience. this above is the new design for the tee's. I'm picking up all 15 today around 3p. colors ranging from black, red, blue, green, everything except white.
Finished a 10x10 last night, so i have one left that im working on today.
the first 10x10 is a tight lined crazy abstract
the 2nd 10x10 is loose lined crazy abstract
and for 3rd. its watercolor base that im going over with black pen.
I'll post pics of them when im ready! im guessing before sunday!

**Whats up, had a great weekend Bbq'n, sippin up some punkin head, I have a big 20x16 canvas im working on at home and another 'first time' a 12x16 painting, with various paints i picked up the other week from a chickk.
I'll have pictures of both of those, before this weeksend. **

Little bit bummed this year, dont know if I'm going to throw the cash out for a seasons pass like i have been for the past 3 years...

Stayin cool on this rainy saturday, was going to WeBeJamminFest but not with the distance and rain, maybe if it clears up early enough.

Switched it up with a bit of color and by a bit i mean, ka-blam, thc.X.lrg, the black over the colors always looks good

Pics of Portland with a frame i made, I'm all about mixing real world with abstract, it was fun rollin' around finding those spots and pictures, I'll like when I do a lot more like that

3 Piece canvas - faber castells straight to it - took a good 12-24 hours and fell off the end on the bottom panel. i have a few people looking for 18/24''x10'' tattoos for arms and ribs they want, this could be something like that, maybe a tad more simple
